Moving Out

Monday, October 29th, 2007

This past weekend I moved out!  It was a long and exhausting process.  Thanks to everyone who helped out.  A special thanks to my fiance!  She’s amazing!  I love you so much Julieanne!  Thank you for cooking and cleaning last night when I was too tired to do much.  Thank you for helping me host a dinner party in our new place.  It’s less than three months until we get married.  It’s so exciting.

****Special thanks to Steve Martin****

I think it’s funny I want to have all this stuff, even though its just stuff. I loved Steve Martin in the movie “the Jerk” I was talking with Julieanne the other day about stuff I wanted, and the list just kept getting longer and longer. I felt like Steve. It made me laugh. I think I’m good on the spending thing for now. Julie and I just got our bedroom furniture thanks to Julie’s mom! and we had to buy our own mattress and soon we’re buying our dining table, it’ll be nice. All this stuff is just so expensive! EWE! I just want a TV and a 360 with the HD player attachment thingy. Sit down after work and relax in front of the TV! =) LOL We’re almost moved in! I’m so excited. House warming coming soon.

Microwave

Thursday, October 25th, 2007

Some great news.  I’m moving out on Friday.  Julieanne’s Grandma Mooradian gave us a microwave yesterday.  One less thing we have to buy.  Thanks Grandma! =)  Other than that things are moving right along.

Wow I’m getting my wishes.

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

…given I’m purchasing them for myself, I’m still very happy.  So far I got the LowePro 200 AW Slingshot for my camera, and last weekend we signed some lease papers for our new place.  It’s a one bed one bath apartment for only $995/mo.  I’m quickly discovering how expensive it is to move out.  Electricity hookups, phone, cable, renter’s insurance, fridge, microwave, sofas, dining table, chairs … the list goes on.  But for now, I’m super excited and super happy! =)

Luggage?

Thursday, October 18th, 2007

Julieanne and I never registered for any luggage.  It’s just too expensive and I really don’t think it’s worth buying new luggage.  I have a lot of stuff to carry junk in from my travels and so does she.  I think we’re good to go, especially for Jamaica.  Although, I think it would be fun to have this :

Do you think we’d be stopped in customs?  Probably a bad idea eh?
